Programme Description / Penerangan Program

This programme offers two specialization tracks; Big Data and Intelligent Computing track to nurture responsible innovative Intelligent Application Specialist who will elevate ubiquitous technology in fulfilling the National Digital Transformation.

The programme provides advanced teaching facilities such as smart classrooms and Big Data laboratories which able to develop and sharpen the skills to qualify the students to pursue a variety of digital industry careers.

This programme embraces various discipline in Big Data and Intelligent Computing to produce experts in ICT main field such as Business Intelligence and Analytics, Enterprise Resource Planning, Database and Software Application and Development.

Semester 1 Year 1
Fundamentals of Computer Science, Fundamentals of Computer Problem Solving, Islamic and Asian Civilization,  Co-Curriculum I, Calculus I, Applied Probability and Statistics, Introduction to Management

Semester 2 Year 1
Object Oriented Programming, Introduction  to Multimedia,   Curriculum II, Fundamentals of Information Systems Development, Introduction to Data Communication and Networking, Discrete Mathematics, Intermediate, Financial  Accounting  and  Reporting

Semester 3 Year 2

Elective Course (Big  Data Track)

Programming for Data   Science, Data  Representation & Report Techniques,  Statistics for  Business and  Social  Sciences, Introduction to  Internet  of  Things,  Secure Internet   Working  Technologies, Human Computer  Interaction.

Job Opportunities / Peluang Pekerjaan

Students will be developed into highly competent application developer who is able to apply intelligent system techniques, knowledge and practical skills in providing services for digital industries especially in Big Data Analytics and Software Development.

Graduates from this programme also have been accepted at some of the country’s best universities to pursue their studies or other professional degree programmes.
