Programme Description / Penerangan Program
We offer an exciting portfolio that is multidisciplinary in nature. The programme is designed to provide theoretical grounding, practical knowledge and hands-on experience responding to the demands of private and public organizations for qualified IT professional. The program facilitates a friendly and supportive learning environment where students will grasp information technology (IT) concepts, theories, and practices. The program aims for students who are dynamic, creative, and innovative, and this is reflected through the teaching methods and contents. They mirror the dynamic nature of technological advances in society today. As a student, you will have the opportunity to explore a variety of areas, including problem-solving skills, data technology and security, human computer interaction, strategic and innovative planning, human factors, user experience and ethical issues.
Entry Requirement/ Syarat Kemasukan
i. Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum CGPA of 2.75 or its equivalent, recognized by the UiTM senate;
OR
ii. Bachelor’s Degree or any related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 and does not meet a CGPA of 2.75 is acceptable subject to a stringent internal appraisal process;
OR
iii. Bachelor’s Degree or any related field with a CGPA less than 2.50 or its equivalent, recognized by the UiTM Senate, can be accepted, with a minimum of five (5) years of working experience in the relevant field;
iv. Candidates without qualification in the related field or working experience in the relevant field must undergo appropriate prerequisite courses determined by the UiTM Senate and meet the minimum CGPA based on (i) to (iii)
v. Candidates without qualification in the related field or working experience in the relevant field but meet the minimum CGPA based on (i) to (iii) and have passed the prerequisite courses via
- Accredited micro-credentials programs or
- Professional courses or
- Courses during bachelor’s degree can be exempted from taking prerequisite courses.
OR
Has certificate of Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL) for entry into graduate program (for local student only)
INTERNATIONAL APPLICANT: ENGLISH PROFICIENCY REQUIREMENT

Malaysian University English Test (MUET) Band 4 OR |

IELTS Band 5.5 OR |
|
TOEFL: Internet-Based Test (IBT: 46); OR |
|
A candidate who does not have any of the above English certificates is required to attend a six (6) months English Proficiency Class (EPC) prior to enrolling into the program. Upon completion of the EPC program, candidate needs to sit for any of the above English examinations with the score stated above before the postgraduate programme is completed. |
