CDIM110 - Diploma Information Management

IM 110 - Diploma in Information Management

Programme Details
The programme aims to fulfil the needs of information and knowledge workers, who play a vital role in the information industries. The graduates are trained to gain knowledge and skills in information literacy, information handling, information communication, technology application management, and other related information and knowledge management tasks. The fourth industrial revolution has capitalised on advances in digitalisation, and the Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education recognises that institutions of higher learning needs to evolve in tandem with the 4IR to stay relevant and competitive.  The Malaysia Education Blueprint 2015-2025 (Higher Education) aims to prepare Malaysia for the next phase of its journey to becoming an economically prosperous nation, where data, information, and knowledge are critical to improving the standard of living, the economy, and the working ecosystem. Therefore, our main plan is to equip our graduates with knowledge and information management skills, diversifying their roles as curators of information and knowledge, content producers, and connection-makers, in order to accomplish the government's vision for producing holistic, entrepreneurial, and balanced graduates as future leaders.
